This is interesting, but the concept is not new. Diesel engines have done this for years. Can't wait to see its real application.

You will be waiting a long time..... 2 crankshafts, and 1 defying Gravity, (lubrication). The IC engine will be legislated out of existence in our lifetime, easy, and diesels will be the first to go. Germany (of all places, seeing they invented it) will ban IC engines about 2030, and Cities now are starting to ban Diesels.... Electric, and smaller lighter batteries are the future, Depressing, I know!! (just trying to be controversial....!) (Can't find the right emo for someone drinking wine and looking for a debate!) :lol:

350 Gillet Laguesse 2 stroke race bike ( during the twenties) had such engine and Laguesse who was engineer made some other see here text in frech but pictures and drawings are enough to understand how it worked
