Ron, if you still have relatives back there, and they have addresses, one of the addresses would show you are a person that spends 6 months of the year in each location, so, NO conflict with commie Kalifornia laws/regs. Someone here could send you a letter or two from their addresses, addressed to you, at that Vermont address. It'd have a valid return address and post mark, legally establishing Vermont residency.

It IS our absolute duty to oppose, and devise work around's for any and all arrogant regulations that commie politicians with voter agendas force upon all of us.

Had a few hours this weekend to work on the RGV finally. Installed new brake rotors and pads. Just finishing up the bodywork fixing a few cracks
in the plastic panels before my painter at work does his magic.

Love the engineering on these, a 2 stroke with a modern frame, usd forks, decent brakes etc. I give up, is that coolant or oil, RHR of frame?? Looks like enough oil to go to the Moon!

Oil injection tank is on the right, coolant overflow is on the left. Of the 30 or so bikes I have owned, this RGV puts the biggest smile on my face
when you ride it hard into a corner. It feels very much like my 89 FZR400, just about 100 lbs less weight. With reed valves, power valves,
computer control ignition, pretty cool for 25 years ago. Oh, and they sound really good above 10,000rpm too. :D

This thread is making me feel guilty leaving mine packed into a corner on a battery tender for 2 years. I think maybe it will have to make it's way to Deals Gap this year.

Ron, Nevada info:

Bike needs an in person VIN inspection (No problem, done by either N-DMV, or Sheriff, one deputy lives at the other end of my road, too, of which, the Sheriff is a personal friend of mine, and I am now getting in position to do Nevada VIN inspections)

Address must be physical, street address, no PO Boxes (I have a lot next door to me, no problem, you now have a summer, or winter home, of which, you still live primarily in Kalifornia, and are moving your alternate home from Vermont to Nevada)

Title, or Registration, you will be recorded and issued a Nevada document of same, either title and registration, or registration only. (No problem, bike has a legitimate and current Vermont license, surrender it, paperwork from Vermont, the rest is 5 minutes at the N-DMV)

Must show proof of NEVADA insurance for vehicle, anything from minimum to full coverage (No problem one of my board members is the best insurance guy here) I have 4 bikes insured with my pal, Farmer's Agent, Foremost coverage, minimum required, $109.00 full year.

Pay all registration/plating fees at N-DMV, put Nevada plate on bike in parking lot, wheelie away.

As far as Kalifornia, if you are stopped, no problem, you live in Kalifornia, have a seasonal home in Nevada, bike is LEGALLY registered and insured, and, it is there in Kalifornia so you can work on it, then, it'll go back to Nevada.

Best advice, ESCAPE THE DEMOCRATIK SOCIALIST DISASTER DE KALIFORNIA DEL NORTE MEXICO, A S A P, as a lot of us have already, we don't even look back, EVER.
