1979 IT175 peeing, probably seats worn out. Looking around for kits for a 26m replacement I found this on ebay. Says DT but might fit IT too.

How can a whole NEW carb cost $26 bucks with free shipping

Probably crap but I'm going to try it anyway - will advise. Ships from Florida (Not Hong Kong).

I have one very similar. I believe it's a far-east copy of a Mikuni. I'll be trying it on my DT100, but I expect I'll have to completely re-jet it to make it usable. If you try yours first, I'll be interested in how it works.

It doesn't say its a mikuni. It just says VM26 so its a bootleg fake would be my guess. I don't see any words or stamping marks on it in their pix. Chinese fake. Still might work ok.

Agree everyone - Probably Chinese crap but for 26 bucks worth a try. A new Float Needle & Seat is 9 bucks (Parts-n-More) but shipping is $14.... So I'll try this first. Plus I'm curious how it works.

This is for my wifes IT175 - she's never ridden anything before (Don't go there Steve  ) so it's a good putt-putt machine test.

Just for future reference, John at Mid Atlantic Cycle is a Sudco dealer. When I get parts like that from him, he charges only a couple bucks for postage and mails them to me.

Yeah, I learned my lesson... I thought I was buying a genuine OKO knockoff of a PWK which reportedly are good. What I got was a knockoff of a knockoff which was crap. It used custom jets, not even standard PWK brass. I never even bothered to try it. I took the loss on the shipping to return it and I vowed to never buy anything unless it was the real McCoy from now on.

If it were me, I'd pay the extra $60 and get a real mikuni or even grab a S3 carb and fit it before I ever wasted money on a Chinese carb again.
It's very similar to buying the crappy knockoff hands free device for your cell phone... Sure they work but not bloody well enough to be useful.

Well, my point of view doesn't mean I'm not routing for you! ;)
At least it's shipped out of the US! Maybe ask the vendor if it uses standard mikuni brass before you purchase though.
