Weird, I lived in Milpitas in 78, worked at PAD and drove truck all over the Bay for a couple of years. I had a girlfriend in Pleasanton, her Dad worked at the GM plant in Hayward and he built cars in his garage. His name was Willie H. and her name was Lonna.

Bought mine when I lived in San Bruno (where I grew up) and then I lived in So. SF for many years and then San Mateo for a long time after that before moving here in 2000.

My step father used to race at Fremont - 62 vette named Jumping Jack.

Last time I ran 1/4 mile, which was 1984 9.53 @ 139 and a best of 5.67 @124 in 1/8.

I wonder the same thing. One night my pal Zimmy and I rode over to the dance in a town 20 miles away. After it was over about midnight, all of the cars full of kids from our town were heading back and me and Zimmy ran our bikes up to around 120, turned our lights off and headed for home passing a lot of cars while we were blacked out. Never once thought about a deer or raccoon or anything jumping out, just hammered down. Now I won't even ride after dark at all, too scared of critters and such.
