We can only hope not.. That front tire was ruled as the number 1 cause for the high speed wobbles these bikes were so famous for.. |

Hey Mark, I don't know anything about them But, the Z1 that I have, has DURO's That look like the old original tread. They have a website if you want to check them out. Durotire.com HF316 (rear) HF317(front) |

Does your H2 'wobble' or wander? I'm restoring the Z1 and was debating Whether to keep the Duros. I rode this bike about 50 miles before I tore it down. It didn't feel right (front end felt loose). I'm guessing it was either tires or the lack of the steering dampner. |

Could be loose/worn head bearings too, Shane. |

Yeah, tapered are on the menu. And I have a dampner. This bike will be stock and was considering the stock appearing tires. Oh, and to keep this Marks thread, I found a shift return spring and will get it to him soon. |

Didn't Dunlop use to make one. Seems like it was a called a Gold Seal.My W650 has a ribbed tire on the front made by Bridgestone. I can check the size if you need me to. |

Dunlop (Japan) needs to reproduce the original zig-zag pattern K77, (in a modern compound) which came on the white Mach 111's - it looked great! 'Course the '70 ons had a ribbed tyre, which should be easy to duplicate! |
