Google and probably other search engines rank web sites primarily by how many links to that site are on the web. Right now, we're not on the first page if you search Google for "kawasaki triples board", for example.

Many of us have web sites, and can help the Google ranking by simply putting links to this board on our sites. I just added it to the links page of my site, http://www.lakeserv.net.

If a bunch of us do this, we'll make it easier for triple owners find us.

I linked it on my site (www.boulier.com) a day after I registered K2S.

A wiki might be cool too - Moo is great at that sort of thing. :clap: :clap: :clap:

Admins - I just checked and there's no metaheader info on the main page and I don't see it on the forum either but don't know if you can even do it there.

Things are getting better. A search for "Kawasaki Triples Forum" and "Kawasaki Triples Board" puts us on the first page now, but searching for "Kawasaki Triples" doesn't show us until the second page. (guess what's still at the top)

A few more links to the site wouldn't hurt.

I'm not a web designer or anything, but it looks like the meta names are empty. Some descriptive keywords i.e. "Kawasaki, triples, h1, h2, s2 etc would really help.

Here's all I saw on the splash forum page.
<meta name="keywords" content="" />

Here's on the initial URL itself:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<meta content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"
http-equiv="Content-Type">
<title>www.kawi2strokes.com The new Kawasaki Triples home</title>
</head>
<body>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<h1>Welcome to Kawi2Strokes.com</h1>
</div>
<br>
Here you will find all sorts of stuff related to the Kawasaki 3 cylinder 2 strokes..The H, S, and KH series.<br>
<br>
Search through the best Kawasaki Triple resource page on the net...the one and only <a href="http://www.kawtriple.com/mraxl">Mraxl
Resource page</a> (he's also got one for the Suzuki GT series of 2 strokes)<br>
<br>
Or join our <a href="http://www.kawi2strokes.com/forum">Forum</a>
for up to date help, fun, or just to hang out on a family/work friendly messageboard.<br>
<br>
Thanks for joining us.<br>

<a href="http://www.kawi2strokes.com/forum">The
Kawi2Strokes.com Messageboard</a><br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.kawtriple.com/mraxl">Mraxl's

<br>
<a href="http://www.3cyl.com/mraxl/gt/index.htm">Mraxl's Famous Suzuki GT Resource Page</a><br>
</body>
</html>

Here's what is on my web page as example:
<meta name="keywords" content="western union, kawasaki, barry boulier, bonanza, harley davidson, telecom, telephony, colorado, mrxl, kawasaki triple, kawasaki h2, yamaha dt400, bsa, inventing, welding, fabrication">
