So I'm not the only one thats had those bloody things go off  , they work better when battery is removed

1000000% True Story.. I was tuning a '71 H1 in my garage. Turned the key to "On" and the garage door went up...... Scared the crap out of me.I was nowhere near the button in my truck or on the wall. So instead of working on the bike, the next 10 minutes were spent trying to get the door to go up and down with the early H1 iggy. unfortunately, Was not able to replicate it.

My H2 upsets mobile traffic lights at road works  , ignition output makes them go crazy  , turn bike off they work so How do you ride past them

I smoke cigs and I'm pretty careless about it and working around solvents and gasoline. I'm pretty aware of fumes and when they become concentrated and don't "think" I push it too far but you never know right? So I have a commercial & inspected big extinguisher handy and a smaller hand-held on my bench. Never had an incident. Then again I've been an IT geek before it was known as IT and have had computers since 1984 and have never had a hard disk fail or lost any data because I backup all the time to various media. Testing a triple? It seems like they test me. Have noticed that my H2 occasionaly makes street lights go out and assume that is iggy RF related as well. |

Back on smoke detectors....my '70 Elky big block with high compression sets off the wall unit sooner than my H1, but it may be due to the Volume emitted from a 7.5 liter engine!? One thing's for sure, the H1 SMELLS better doing it!! |
