Have had a few triples and they all had stock bars
The other triples (that mostly belong to you guys) that I've ridden either had stock bars or were racers with clip ons.

I like to look of a stock triple with an uprgiht riding position but have not tried any bars that aren't so tall
Wondering how the lower "super bike" style bars work for you guys; look to be a similar width and pull back but 2 or 3" lower.

Any improvement in handling (due to change in weight distribution) and do they make your back hurt on long rides?
Other than clip ons, are there any other recommended bends?

its all a preference thing. Going from stock to superbike bars isn't going to change how the bike handles. Maybe going from stock to clipons or clubmans would, but I doubt it would be enough to notice.

my personal preference is Renthal Streetfighter bars. Dont know what the pullback and rise are, but fairly similar to superbike bars with a bit more width.

I have superbike bars on mine. I like to lean forward and to the inside in corners and they make it easier. Also lean a little more forward into the wind and do not have to hang on as tight.

My H1b has stock bars and that suits me BUT my S2A and H2B both have European low bars that Andre sells and are far nicer than the stock.I still have them Just in case I want to put back stock.

These are the same reasons I have flat bars, which really aren't very different from your superbike bars. The leaning into the wind reason is why I got the low bars about 2 weeks after I got the H2 (1979). Riding to/from school on the D.C. Beltway with the high bars caused a tiring feeling of hanging on. With the drag bars, I was balanced against the wind.

I've toggled back and forth between stockers for my H2 and clubmans. I like the feel of the clubmans but my Man-Boobs make my wrists hurt from supporting all that weight. I know clipons have the same effect after riding Johns bike last year - and there's NO WAY I'm going to be able to have my back hold back the wrist issue.

I did get super bike bars last February and really like them, good solid feel, don't think handling was improved other than in confidence and the extra length on the rear shocks definitely made a difference in handling. Other than routing cables differently or getting shorter ones no worries. I got mine from Repodecals:

Handlebar 7/8" Chrome - Superbike Bar
Width: 29"
Rise: 2.5"
Pullback: 4.75"
Center Width: 4.75"

Clubman's on my one hot rod street H2A, moved the weight bias just enough to work well with the 18 inch Morris Mag front wheel, 3/4ths inch shorter fork tubes and Dunlop road race slick I used on the street.

Others I like as well, Daytona and SuperBike bars.
