game over. now its a lot of money, several trips to the DMV, a surety bond, its a 5 step program and if any mistakes are made you lose the bond payment. Which is step 1. I may just part out all my triples i guess. Mark my words guys, triple parts are gonna be cheaper soon. every time somone in michigan finds out they cannot get a title here, bikes are gonna be stripped. And whenever i sell my triple parts it seems they are suddenly at an all time low.

It might not be impossible in PA to get a title, but it is not an easy state. I am like you, unless I need it for parts, if it doesn't have a title I pass on it.

You got me with that One :eh: - The "Old" process took 2 hours to get a title 8-) - From reading the associated paperwork with the new system, I don't see how you can even get a title for any of the bikes that we are dealing with (unless they are already on the antiquated system?)

Rick,

What about taking the "Assembled Vehicle" route? I read through the rules and it seem like MAYBE a way to get a title.

What documentation are towing companies using for disposing abandoned vehicles? If you are friends with one can they help? Being as I am no longer in the business, I could get a title for any vehicle [or part of a vehicle] in no more than 45 days. There are hoops to jump through but nothing impossible.

Are you in Michigan? Are you aware that the rules in Michigan tightened recently?
