 Post subject: anti -ring dampers ?

i see the tripples have cutouts in the barrel fins, are these for damper rubbers like on the RD400 ?.
as i have never seen a tripple with dampers in place.
just wondering thats all.

The cutouts are just for thermal expansion, but some guys have made rubber dampers for the fins, and it's supposed to cut out a lot of the ringing sound. Just don't stick dampers in that interfere with air flow.
