i see the tripples have cutouts in the barrel fins, are these for damper rubbers like on the RD400 ?. as i have never seen a tripple with dampers in place. just wondering thats all. cheers mark |

The cutouts are just for thermal expansion, but some guys have made rubber dampers for the fins, and it's supposed to cut out a lot of the ringing sound. Just don't stick dampers in that interfere with air flow. |
