Greetings all,
Our youngest daughter Ruby [whom some of you met at the Gap this yr] managed to go to work 8 am friday, throw up on her boss, drive herself home, then we rushed her to the closest emergency room in terrible pain.
emergency appendectomy that eve. she'll be down for a month from lifting/working etc
which puts our whole plan of working on her G3ss out the window for xmas/new year college break. doing well, but dissapointed...
our christmas plans pretty well upended, we are VERY thankfull that she was near health facility when it occurred, a great gift indeed!
bigmo

Another curve ball from life. I am glad to hear that she will be OK. The bike can wait, right?

Emergency surgery is never good but it sounds like she was well taken care of and in the big picture if your going to loose an internal component the appendix is the least of them. Tell her to "Walk it off" she's made of stout material.

I had a chat with TGU (The Guy Upstairs) when I read your post, he told me she was going to be fine. It was my pleasure to meet both of you this year at the Gap.
