Hey Guys....last time I rode my '74 H1 it started running on 2 cyl, I'm sure I fouled a plug. Want to ride tomorrow but am having a hard time finding NGK B9H S plugs, I previously bought them at AutoZone, but they dont have them.

I did find two "on the shelf" so I'm good but want to order more, plus I need some B6E S's for my Z1.

What are you guys running on your late H1's and where are you getting them? [I've heard stories of fakes on eBay]. And what are these "marine" plugs B9H S 10's? I know, for a boat motor but will they work?? Thanks

I get mine from Kawatripleparts.com in the UK.

https://kawasakitripleparts.com/product ... 85444af42e

Probably not much help to you in the US.

The -10 version has a slightly longer ground electrode, optimized for a gap of 1mm, and is pre-gapped to that. It's really slightly nicer for triples that are specified to run a 1mm plug gap.

If you fouled a plug, it's probably worth double checking that carb for things like float level, float valve leakage, or anything that would cause an over rich mixture.

Autolite 4092 is the equivalent and available at any auto zone.

So you run the NGK-B9HS-10? Those are readily available here in the States. Thx

Hey Jim...Plan to install new plugs in the morn and she how she runs. I think I let it idle a little too long last time I rode it and that led to the fouled plug. Thx

When I called AZ, they did mention they had Autolite but I've always been running NGK and preferred to keep doing so. But......

I run them in my RD350B and my H2 with good results for years.

Many have run the Autolites for years with no issues. I've used them too with no issues but I stocked up on boxes of NGK's years ago.

B9's in the H1?
Are you racing lap after lap?

Too cold for daily drivers.

Plugs need to heat up to 1100°f or so and not run below 600 or so.
