Hello: On the old coil when you look down the area where you screw the cap on to hold the wire into the coil, you can see a small metal pin looking up at you. This is where the end of the wire pushes the metal pin into the wire thus allowing current to flow. I purchased a NOS coil off E Bay. When I look into the area where the wire goes into the coil, I do not see the metal pin which is to go into the wire. Is there another way the wire going into the coil can be secured to make contact in order for it to work or is this coil no good? Thank you |

Gary I have the correct coil for you. If I`d known earlier I could have slipped it in with the 2 "B" packs I sent. I`ve changed to Zeeltronic on my H1A so no longer need it. Interested ? Neil |

I might work that way for a while, with arcing between the wire and what's left of the spike, but it's not what you want for the long term. |

Thank you for the offer Neil. Fortunately I have a 2nd NOS coil that does have the spike in it. I guess the other one with out the spike is garbage. Thank you to who replied. |
