Hello .... I have a couple of the B ignition boxes and when you shake them in your hand it sounds like there is a marble moving around inside the ignition box. Any opinions/ideas why and if the units are any good.

Thank you

I have noticed the same on my H1A. I haven't ridden the bike since I discovered it so not sure if it affects the functionality of the ignition.

The B unit isn't potted, so you can take the cover off and see what's going on. You may have to take some time with the gasket so it doesn't rip apart.

There`s an inductor that has a "ferrite" core inside. This comes loose. Take it apart and just glue it back in. Or if you prefer I have 6 of these "B" units all in working order surplus to requirements free to anyone. Only problem UK based.

I would be interested in a couple. I purchased the H1 shifter forks off you a while ago. Not sure if you still have my address. If not and you would send me a couple, I can get my address to you. I'm in Wisconsin USA.

Thank you in advance .... Gary

I can do Pay Pal for shipping cost.

Do you still have a spare B box, mines not failed yet but it's always handy to have a spare
Cheers Gary
