As all of us normally do all year around, it is that season of year when we need to be more aware that there may be persons around us that may well need a bit more than the usual. We are aware of the two board members injured, and in need, and they are in all our thoughts and more. That is a major part of Pay It Forward. However, if you have the where with all to help, one of us, a neighbor, someone you don't even know that needs it... Be that part of Pay It Forward that helps. Most times, it is something that costs very little, to nothing but your time and effort, just give of yourself, whatever you can. And, feel good in yourself, don't even expect the slightest "thank you", just know you gave of yourself. That is the biggest "thank you" a person can ever really receive. For the season, Merry Christmas, Happy and Prosperous New Years, Safe 2023, and, if you get the opportunity, Pay It Forward. |

That is something my family tries to do all year. And ike you said, it's not necessarily a money issue. It doesn't cost a nickel to shovel the snow out of an elderly neighbor's driveway and sidewalk or jumpstart a stranger's car at the grocery store.
