Thanks fellas. :D Wife and I did my birthday trip to Deals Gap on our scooters. Had great weather and fun riding.Hotel was full of Harleys so we felt a little out of place. Overall it wasn't very crowded up there. We are a little sore as I am used to hauling bikes up there.

Sounds like a good trip. How far is it for you 1-way?

We took the long way. Added about 2.5 hours and another 100 plus miles. Probably 270 total. Did backroads and Moonshiner 28 to get there.

Wow, not an insignificant ride. I agree though... back roads are everything. I'd rather take twice as long and ride mountain twisties than get on the highway. It's impressive that your wife likes that much riding in a day, too. I get a little tired of riding after a couple hundred miles unless it's broken up with some nice stops.

We stopped a few times to stretch our legs. I agree twisty roads are way better even if it takes a lot longer. I got the impression my wife won't be doing many more longish rides. She seems to be losing interest in riding. :(

Sorry to hear that. It's impressive that she's done so much though.
