I have owned a few Tripples since the late '80s, however it was a few Suzuki GT380's.
Having owned Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha. This year I picked up a Kawasaki H2 by accident. Last year I sold what I thought was my final motorcycle.
Shortly after selling it, my friend told me he was telling a friend about my GT380. His friend mentioned he had a 1972 Kawasaki H2 that he had bought new. Back in 1977 he took the bike apart to have it painted.
Fast forward to this year. My friend asked him what he was doing with the Kawasaki, and he said he was not sure. A couple weeks later when they were talking again, the owner asked my friend if he thought I could get the bike running. My friend assured him I could.
Believe it or not, he gave the bike to my friend and I.
My friend said I could have it outright, but I could not accept that. I told him what it was worth and that he would be half owner.Let the build begin.
