Hello all, I just found and joined this group, hoping to find another 750. I owned one back in the 70's and managed to survive riding the bike in my reckless youth. My brother bought the bike new in 72 and I bought it from him a few years later. It was more fun than should be legal. I lived in a small town, lot's of crazy back roads and little traffic. Eventually had to sell the bike, wish I had more foresight back then.

Fast forward to early this year. I have a Honda CB750 the a friend had given me ten years ago. At that time I couldn't give it the attention it needed to get it on the road so there it sat until spring of 2020. I did a fairly good refresh of the bike, got it running again and was a little disappointed. The bike lacked a lot of the fun of my old 72 h2. A lot less smoke too.

So here I am hoping to get back into the Kawasaki communittee. In this covid world I'm still looking forward to finding another 750 in any shape and riding again. Of course, rebuilding is more than half the fun. I know they are rarer than hen's teeth, but if anyone has a line on one, let me know.

Thanks,

Dave C.

Welcome to the board Dave! I hope you find a decent H2 without too much trouble.

Welcome and glad to have you here! H2’s are still out there in various states of condition but you’ll have to do your due diligence as well as travel or pay shipping to secure one.

Thanks for the welcome guys. This task seems pretty formidable. Are there better places to look, motorcycle sites that might cater to Kawasaki's? I have the time and resources for a rebuild project, and I don't mind travelling around North America. Unfortunately the only bike I've seen is on eBay and the latest bid is over$16k.

The guy I sold my bike to was from Alaska, but I doubt it's around. Unfortunately I think he turned it into a drag bike, probably cut it up pretty quickly. I'd even be interested in an incomplete basket case if there was enough to work with.

I read somewhere about an annual gathering in Pennsylvania but I believe it was canceled this year due to Covid-19. Are there other meets or events for H2 owners?

Any help is appreciated. After rebuilding the Honda 750, I really miss my old 72.

I may have a few options to get you an H2 depending upon how much or how little work you are looking to do.
