Seems like I have some excessive side to side play in my swing arm. 1972 H2. I removed it and found that the bushings are not worn at all. The Pivot Sleeves are within spec on the OD and fit nice and snug in the bushings but I can't find an ID limit. I have .006 clearance between the pivot bolt and the ID of the Pivot Sleeve. Is that too much clearance? Is there a service limit? Thanks! |

The bolt only holds everything together. The important clearance is between the short sleeves and the bushings. Page 55 of the Kawasaki shop manual, available on the resource site, has all the information. http://www.kawatriple.com |
