Started out in the 60s messing about with old British bikes and hacking them about fields. Then came a Puch moped, all my mates had FSIes, then moved up to a YDS7, followed by a BSA shooting star, bought the YDS7 back, passed my bike test in Cardiff, traded in the 250 for a GT500... next was a Honda 750KZ, then 900F, CBX... then a long interlude without any bikes. Back into bikes around 10 years ago, GSXR750 used on both road and track, 2009 Big bang R1, 900RS Kawasaki I did not gell with it, Kawasaki ZX10R SE which I love, but... I finally managed to buy the bike of my dreams in June last year, a 1972 H2 750 in blue, which I have been rebuilding and it is coming together very well. It took me nearly 50 years to get the bike I fell in love with as a slightly loopy teenager in a small town on the west coast of Wales... Pictures to follow... |

Hello hruntlefoot, it's good to meet you, and Welcome! I hope you enjoy the H2. I've had my 1972 H2 since 1978, and never get tired of riding it. I'll look forward to your photos. |
