This used set of Hayashi wheels just sold for $6,600 (plus shipping) on E-bay. Anyone have an idea why Hayashi wheels would sell for such a high price?

Japan Webike sell sets for around $3,500 - $4,000 when the wheels are in stock.

No idea, but sounds a little crazy IMO, unless I'm missing something as Mike commented. They look "similar" to Lesters but prices for those don't get near that amount.
