I wonder why 2strokeworld goes down so often? Seems like once or twice each year. |

Still down- anyone know what's up? Would gladly contribute if $ if needed to keep it going? It has way more activity than here which is sad. ![]() |

Well, activity seems to have picked up here a little lately, now that the competing 2-stroke board is down. ![]() Hi Chuck! How is your DT100 boring/honing backlog these days? I'm thinking of asking you to bore my stock cylinder to 0.5 mm over to match my new piston. I hate to keep running it in the worn, sloppy cylinder. |

Hi Jim, Boring bar is ready for jobs, I get them in and out. It's the porting work that I'm slow with...As you may know it's very tedious like making beer! Good things take time! Thanks Chuck. Yes, I've done some porting on my own cylinders over the years and it's a lot like when I lay brick. I do great work, but about 1/4 as fast as someone who does it for a living. Now if I get a little break from the spring orders I'll see if I can get my DT100 stuff ready. If I'm right about my spare cylinder's size, I still need to port it before getting it to you. ![]() |
