https://osmand.net/ This is the app I was using at The Gap. Works while not connected to any network, includes most hiking trails, works worldwide, works in airplane mode. OSMAnd is the free version, limits how many regions you can download (states, providences, small countries) OSMAnd+ is the paid version, download as many regions as your device has the memory to handle |

Aaron- that was a cool app and showed where you hiked the 9.5 miles. Thanks for sharing and was good to see you. Good on you too for handling the found Dragon dogs! |

Yes, it was good to talk to you Aaron. It's nice to know about OsmAnd. I've been using CoPilot, and downloaded maps for all of North America all at once. It's free, and also no cell coverage needed. It was $5 to get the version that had voice directions. It looks like these features are the trend now. |
