Have you seen these from Z1?

I bought some controls from them for my Z1 about three years ago, the quality is very good and have had no issues. They pride themselves that none of their parts are Chinese made.

SAME picture Zambia posted, but with no comments. They do look as if they have some serious fitment and other adverse issues, though.

I bought one of the Repo switches for my black H2.
I wasn't happy with the fit and finish so I used the wires and other parts out of it and rebuilt the original one... But the repo would've worked ok..

I have done both. If you are short of time the reproduction switches are fine. They have worked well for me and 99.9% of anyone looking at the bike has no clue that they are reproduction. Have a great time at The Gap.

I've been through 2 sets of the black repro switches and they're crap. All the switches have a lousy feel to them and the run/stop switch burns out if riding in the rain or washing the bike with a pressure washer. The wire to the run/stop switch on a late H1 carries a relatively high voltage (200 - 300V).

This year I'm gonna try something else so I've ordered some universal switches. They're dirt cheap so it won't be a big loss if it doesn't work. They're probably no worse that the repro ones. And if that dosent work I have some modern Kawasaki switches to fall back on. I don't care about stock looks anyway and every thing else on my H1 is modified.
