would like to spray one candy red color as opposed to 3 part formula..anyone done it?..paint numbers?

you mean nobody knows a close red paint code for a 70 h1!!!

I have no idea about paint codes... You won't easily get the same look as the original silver base/ dye red colour, clear, but it might be close with a lot of clear on it as a base coat/ clear coat modern system. The original paint system had to be carefully sprayed as the colour gets darker with each coat of the red, really have to do all three parts at once, in good light.

There is a guy in Arizona that sells paint for the triples can't remember his name :banghead

Um, candy is always a 2 or 3 part. "Candy" is transparent, that shows the base through it. you ca't get that with a single non candy single step. HOC candies are what most use for a true candy paint job.
