I also got a set of cylinders marked TP 2. They have been bored 1mm over were heavily greased and put away many years ago,Painted black filthy dirty but a little gas in the cyl wall show the the fresh bore, nice hone marks etc. . Aslo a set of three 1mm over genuine Kawasaki pistons and rings.
According to resourse site the cylinders are 72/73 H2 with the deep 33mm cut out .YES!! .
The pistons however have the 13mm cut out not 22mm. so will these pistons work with the early cylinders

I would agree with the early H2 pipes.

The pistons would work as is but better if cut.

I'm guessing you could put them on ebay and then get Wossners already cut with rings and have pocket money left over.

Yes I am convinced they are 72 pipes. Major score. However they are missing the baffles. Soooo i am now looking for baffles. I'll post that in the wanted section.
Thanks

you're right about the barrels, second serie (this is nothing to see with TP2 on the barrel, just the fact there're tapered cut out) H2 H2A 72 73
your pipes are 72 H2 too but would love seeing closely the right exhaust, it seems having small dent for the front footpeg that means 72 (third serie)
