One of the funniest moments (for others) was the modification that we did on that cart, it was decided that we ought to have a Kill Switch, a little head scratching and I came up with the idea of a stop lamp switch, I happened to have a new one that fitted perfectly into the spare holes on the blades of the steering wheel, in tests it worked well!
.
My first outing and I am heading into turn 1 flat out when all of a sudden I get 30,000 volts through the fricking steering wheel! :o The sheath had come off the back of the switch and I gripped my bare hands straight onto it . . . . . . needless to say I lost control and span out

Easily the best weekend I have had in a great many years, probably ever. I literally ached from laughing so hard at all of the antics that our little bunch of mid life teenagers got up to. Just seeing the look on RB's face when he got that high voltage zap was priceless.
It was great meeting all of you, Henry, "yows alroight our kid", your H2 is the absolute Dogs Bollocks.
Cody, Mark, Mike, John, the greatest bunch & frikken genius wrench heads for bringing some of the most bizarre vehicles I've ever seen back to life.
I can't thank RB & Lisa enough for hosting such an amazing weekend.
Hope you Guy's didn't mind my early morning 9000 rpm alarm clock on Saturday & Sunday morning
I already applied for a weekend pass from "her indoors" for next years event, seriously, if you have never been, sell your soul and do whatever it takes to make it..

1st time on a 72 since 1972 for me.
I looked in the mirror to shave this morning and saw the grin was still there.
