If we need to send someone money, tell us who.

There's a Yamaha section on this board that can handle the traffic until 2SW is back: viewforum.php?f=11

I must be missing something. I Google 2strokeworld, and I get a bunch of addresses, but when I access them, all I get is a site that has y bars with Honda and scooter links.

Thanks, Barry, that is what I got, or, a lesser variation of same with less bars across the face page, and different subjects. Not much to be interested in, if that is all there is.

This is what I get and it seems to tell all....

Someone didn't pay the bill!

I e-mailed Tom a second time and didn't hear back from him. Then I learned somebody hacked my e-mail, my paypal and my e-bay accounts. Luckily the loss was only $20 and it was refunded. If Tom e-mailed me during that time, the message is lost.

So I sent him a new e-mail asking again to see if he'd been in contact with the people who were maintaining the site.

Also checked with Hostgator and Tucows and they both had the same answer. The only person who can access the information is the one whose name is on the credit card that pays the bill. All that accumulated information on Hostgator will soon be lost, according to the person I spoke with. They archive the info for about a month.

I'm ready to start a new 2strokeworld forum with a slightly different name, since that name is not up for sale and when it does become available it might be very expensive. Any thoughts from other users of that forum?

Mark Haase posted this on the RD Facebook page.
REGARDING 2STROKEWORLD.COM Just to put this up here so that I can possibly slow down the emails, texts and messages. Please let people know i AM working on this and have put up money to try to get this resolved since i've tried for months to get a hold of Matty. . "Dear Mark Haase,

Thank you for completing the process to enter your Starting Offer and Maximum Offer for the domain name 2STROKEWORLD.COM.

Once we have established contact with the current registrant of this domain and they express an interest in selling the domain, we will start negotiations for the lowest possible price for you!

If we are unable to make immediate contact, we will continue attempts over the 30-day term of the Domain Buy Service contract. You will continue to receive status updates throughout the negotiation process."

I'll make the offer here also...I have hosting space available if it needs to be moved.

That's silly. If Mark can contact the current owner of the domain name, and that guy is willing to let Mark take it over, it doesn't have to be negotiated by any third party.

Jeff's offer is a good one. Once the name is available it can be hosted here. But as I and others have said before, there is a Yamaha section of this forum that is sitting nearly unused. Why haven't the guys from 2strokeworld.com come here and taken advantage of that?
