Wish I could be that much of a supertuner!

hey guys,

since i am the only active moderator on there, i posted this to the rz group, etc. I do know Matty is into rv90s/van-vans and such. if you know him reach out. emails are going unanswered.

quick note to all 2strokeworld members: (since i assume a few of you are on here). yes the site is down. No I cant control it, and matty needs to pay the bill and i cant get a hold of him. And the hosting site wont allow me to pay it for him. So, if anybody knows user mattydiah in wisconsin, have him reach out to me.

My time in the Navy was spent maintaining the target tracking radar and computer that controled a 5" gun. The radar was all vacumn tube technology and the computer was analog/mechanical. When the radar went down we had a process called Easter egging the system:-)to fix the radar. We also had a special way to check suspect tubes called the navy float test.
Your craftsmanship is outstanding.
Are there any duo diode high mu triodes in that thing?
I can go into more details on the Navy trouble shooting processes I mentioned above if you'd like.

On another military note, please remember today those who have died protecting our freedom.

I appreciate the compliment, John. The full-wave rectifier tube is a dual diode (5Y3), and the preamp tube is a hi-mu dual triode (12AX7). The power amp tube is a beam tetrode (6V6), running single-ended class-A.
