Same feelings as smokin here. I was on the first message board that Tom Loftis started (was it already in the 90's?). At that time I didn't know almost anything about triples except for a page on the Internet that is now lost. The message board helped me to get my H1 running. I know only one triple enthusiast nearby, but I haven't met him in a couple of years. Actually I have met only a few people that have owned triples in the past. I'm also a member of the Swedish triple club, but because of the distance I have never met the other members in person. I hope to do it in the future. These message boards are vital for keeping the hobby alive and although I don't have had time the last couple of years to wrench much with the triple, I'm trying to contribute by hosting the parts database and such stuff.

Thanks,
Johan

Nice to hear from you Johan and thanks to you for your reference site,

As if this site wasn't already fantastic with the wealth of knowledge, resources, and great stories from great people, the fact that it is global takes it to another level of awesome.

I first used the (old) site to get my H1F running but then got to meet and ride with some great guys at Deals Gap. Hopefully some non-US guys will be able to make it to "the Gap" next year. I'm sure there will be enough extra bikes there that a respected gentleman would be able to get some seat time. Conversely, I hope to do some overseas travel in the next few years, IOM TT (return), Goodwood, Italian or Spanish GP, etc. Maybe I'll get to meet some like minded triple types along the way.

I don't have much tech savvy to offer but will put this out there as a "resource". If anyone is visiting or has business in Washington DC, I live just across the river. My door is open and you could do some sightseeing via H1.

Jim

I seemed to be the only one within roping distance to have passenger pegs :o

Doesn't anyone else use their triple to go "cruising for chicks"?
