thanks all, well not really for me -but for a frog member of the french K triple forum cause- I will fit TM32 on my H2A and thinking to keep standart carbs on my H2B (but think now UFO on the H2B carbs could be a good add).

Hey Jim,
Why don't you whip up some 30mm UFO's with the 3d printer? Maybe they can be made so that the slide cutaway doesn't have to be changed.

I volunteer to test them!

With the flow under the slide so much cleaner and faster, you have to slow down the flow with a leaner cutout.

That's actually not a bad idea.

Just a thought, maybe Jim can engineer his UFO so that it covers the front of the cutout and eliminates the need to modify.

I'm just thinking of this in case somebody (like me) wants to keep the option of putting the carbs back to stock. Easy for me to come up with ideas for somebody else to try.

Leaner means a bigger cutout, Mike.

For those who wonders:

There are no UFO's made that fits the stock H2 carb. However, they make them for VM32 and 34. I know, because I have tried. BUT: There is enough material to remove from outer UFO edges to make them fit VM30, without messing up too much of the flow I think. But I do not know how good the mod will be as I have not tried them for the VM30.
But I have UFO's in 1 VM34 det that I have, and as said; I think it is very much possible making that mod also for VM30 sucessful. And I can assure you that the UFO has it's mission, THEY WORK!!!!
But they DO NOT make more peak power on full throttle as they led U to believe.

I can give 1 example of how you will feel the difference after they have been innstalled:

You got same power at f.ex 1/4 throttle opening as with f.ex 1/2 throttle opening without them, thus the throttle response is VERY much improved, and you WILL notoce the difference! You will also get rid of the characteristic H2 bogging (coming from lean, turbulent flow through venturi) at low rpm/load/throttle openings.

When in powerband, the response is just amazing

Are alternate sized needle jets and possibly needles available for the stock kaw h2 carbs?

Without such tuning after ufo fitment could be frustrating and result in disappointing engine performance.

169 series needle jets should work with hex mains.
