I have a 73 H2A with Ivans kit installed. VAST improvement. Couldn't be happier.
My question: I also own a 71 H1A. It runs great in my opinion. Joe Byrd another triples member, more knowledgeable than myself, has vistited and we have each ridden the others bike. I thought his had a little better overall ride, power wise, and was smoother overall. (he has some head work done also) and aftermarket exhaust, mine is stock except for pvc extension on intakes and foam pods.
Ivan doesn's mention the years 69-71 for his H1 Kits. Just 72 and up. Has any member installed them on their 71? Would really like to hear your imput, before I plunk down the cash. Tks much

I believe his kit must be fitted with a 2.0 slide for it to work properly on early H1.

^^^ That's correct. When I purchased my set from Ivan, he said the 2.0 slides were needed.

I installed Ivan's kit on my '71 H1A with 2.0 slides. It has never run better.
