Where's a good place to stay semi close to Barbers ? I stayed at a real nice hotel almost across the street but it was full 9 or 10 months ago.Thanks.

Hey Buddy,
Maybe John Evans will chime in and tell where he's staying.
Anywhere on Hiway 280 is good.
Are you bringing a bike to ride?

I can't remeber the motel but like Shane says 280 where it crosses 459. There are numerous motels in that area of Colonnade. Shane showed me the back way into Leeds. I hope to get there this year and stay in the same area. Shane lives near there.

Cheap(for the area)and decent ....there is a extended stay Homestead Suites at 280/459 . I stayed there for about a month when I was fixing up a house I was living in. They have kitchenettes etc...in every room. The adjacent parking lot has a great Thai restaurant and a good pub with girls in kilts serving you. :shifty:

I tried to find folks to hook up with last year: stay at same hotel, maybe have breakfast & diner, a ride to the museum, maybe go on the Saturday morning ride, cruise the pits, cruise the museum, maybe a BS session with a few beers at night, etc..... No success. I couldn't even get anyone to commit to a hotel.

.... :e11
