Cheap(for the area)and decent ....there is a extended stay Homestead Suites at 280/459 . I stayed there for about a month when I was fixing up a house I was living in. They have kitchenettes etc...in every room. The adjacent parking lot has a great Thai restaurant and a good pub with girls in kilts serving you. :shifty:

I'm at the pub now Mark and you lied...there are no girls in kilts  :D

I'll be there all day Saturday. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you as I wander round the swap meet. I'll be over at the VJMC booth during the day too.

I took Mark's recommendation and booked a suit at StudioPlus 101 Cahaba Park Cir for Thurdsday thru Sunday. I checked the box for the old folks on two strokes discount and got the room for $45 a night. :D No maid service but who cares.

Heck I'm from Arkansas what do you expect? I got a kitchen in my room, a pub in the parking lot, and Mings Cuisine next door-just no girls in kilts. I am so disappointed.
