You have WAY too much time on your hands  They come from the factory with adequate tie down points ;) But, for peace of mind and 5 mins work you are sorted  As an aside, the quality of the straps is equally as important as their location on the bike -If you are a Sams Club member, do yourself a favor and spend $20 on a set of 4 Goodyear Ratchett tie downs - I buy nearly 1,000 pieces a year and have never had a failure other than bad routing (This pic is from the days before I found the straps a S C ;)

PS Rick, the eye-bolts are good for pulling me out of the ditch when I go over

You have NO clue how close you are with that One! Wink had spent some serious hours inhaling resin fumes, he was making carbon fibre fascias for the front of the Honda Prius . . . for some reason that Wink couldn't fathom out, these carbon fibre covers were causing the motors to overheat and cars fitted with them were breaking down :? What Wink couldn't get his head around is why  I suggested that if the Honda factory had spend MILLIONS developing the car and it's venting, then maybe the holes shouldn't be covered in the first place :eh: - Wink had had enough, he wanted out and was willing to come back to Michigan to work for just food and lodgings

Have you kept any contact with him Rick, as I would hate him to come to harm? Not that I ever had dealings or even met him, to me he came across as a genuine guy without malice, though completely bonkers at times.
