Wow, none of you guys want to ride your H2's? I rode my hot rod H2R derived, now stolen, street H2 all over the place. One year, from Whittier, Cqa, to Laguna Seca, one day, then, to Sonora, Ca, then back to Whittier, 3 rides, and to and f4rom motel and race track, NO issues. From Sonora to Whittier, 9 - 1/2 hours.
Longest ride on the same H2, Cypress (Los Angeles) to Jon Cornwell's house, Halton Hill, Ontario, to Shannonville race track every day of the races there, and back. The thing never gave me one bit of trouble, was comfortable, and ran like a 'highly excited' ape. All it asked of me, was K2 engine oil, and top grade fuel.
Of course, mine had tight piston clearances, which stops most of the vibration that some experience when their bore clearances are totally worn out, or too large, and my crank was straight. That bike was a 1973, did not have rubber engine mounts, never cracked a mount, nor any other frame problem.
I don't know why others don't care to ride their bikes, I enjoyed/still enjoy the heck outta my H2's.
