For those that require some comfort, we can look at renting rooms or an apartment at The now defunct "Sugar Loaf" ski resort, it's about 7 miles away, Traverse city is 14 miles away but you would be looking at $200+ a night for a hotel there :?

Fully furnished town house though, the unit I rented was nice for the year I brought my family down... Other than no wifi! :shock: teenage girls, who would have thought to ask? :lol:
I'll be sleeping in a lawn chair next to the inferno this year! :lol:

I would be interested, just can't do the camping deal anymore. You are right about motel rates, $200 is a steal in that area.
