Surprisingly I like the angular one better. The round one looks too big, especially from the front.

I also hacked on the plastics a little bit more. I removed material between the engine and the fuel tank. This allows you to 'see through' the bike and also lets some of the cables and fuel lines peek out. Finished contouring the seat to make it blend with the curve of the tail light (when viewed from the rear). I don't have a pic of that though

I modified the headlight a little to make it fit the gages. I also mounted my front turnsignals to it. It turned out pretty well.

I also got the rear turn signals and license plate mounted

I started covering the seat last night as well. Got some nice vinyl from JoAnn Fabrics for $10. Not bad, I must say.
I think I'm going to start tearing the bike down and finishing off the welds and cleaning things up. I was thinking about tearing the engine apart again and blasting all of the cases. Any thoughts? Words of advice?

Others can offer tips on blasting cases, but always clean all passages and threaded holes thoroughly after the process, as the material has a tendency to lodge in these tiny areas and cause problems down the road.

 Keep up the fine efforts and creativity!

Here's a four color schemes I have playing around with.

this one is supposed to have a green frame similar to the new H2R with the dark purple that was available on the original H2 series

Have you worked out the trail on this project yet?

trail is about 4.5 inches

Husson, if you can believe it, this is actually an improvement over the stock katana seat. That thing was SNUG!

I'm absolutely, and totally terrified, and, petrified!

I thought the table cloth that was going to be the seat cover was a nice touch, then, I realized, it was only the seat foam.

The first ride, I do believe, will be way, way above medium full tilt spectacular.
