You could also get some small, thin-walled 4130 steel tubing and make a much lighter version of the rear peg mounts if you didn't want such a long hanger. Or maybe weld some small steel tabs on, and make a triangular bracket with cool looking holes in it that bolts to the tabs.

The bosses (tabs) are laying on top of the motor........and I am putting on a triangular bracket with cool looking holes in it that bolts to the tabs......but my feet will be on them :P
