+1. With no cradle at all, you will have a clean slate to fab one in, or as Paul suggested, use a donor S-series frame and Bob's your uncle. In the end, you will have a much better handling Triple, and not have to worry about bolting on mismatched front and rear suspensions to an old Triple frame. |

I have 4-5 S3/KH400 frames here Paul, good idea, but out of my league skills wise that is. |

Mark Hasse built one with a RD350 motor, and Nick Pastore built one with a Banshee motor...... |

I have a 16" front on my special with no drama at all, very stable bike at any speed |

i welded a cradle in mine. worked fantastic. friend of mine is probably going to stuff a rockwell 440 snowmobile motor in one. if he doesnt i may see if i can get it and do 'ninjard2' mine with rd motor:
