Oil on the plug and at the exhaust end. Good spark, looked for a fuel issue. Rebuilt petcock last year, flow seems fine. Carefully pulled a carb, kept it upright not to lose any fuel and removed the bowl. Maybe three or four tablespoons. Noticed that the float needle was cocked between the float tang and the float seat with the float stuck in that position. I don't understand why fuel wasn't dripping from the overflow and the bowl completely full of fuel. Did the cocked needle restrict the flow or should I take a closer look at the petcock and tank vent?

Before I place an order to replace worn float assemblies, I see K & L Mikuni, reproductions I guess. Anyone have any luck with their products compared to Sudco? Or are these float valve sets "Use Mikuni Only" pieces I need to track down.
Thanks gents.
