Tried the usual suspects, Granger, McMasters and general internet search for suppliers.

I found a few sites that have the length and size but all are bulk suppliers, I'm particularly interested in the longer ones - most are close like the 274mm I found in 280mm.

Can anyone recommend a supplier?

19 92091-021 BOLT ENGINE MOUNTING 8x270 1

Barry, I bought threaded drill rod from Lowes/Home Depot and cut it to length.

Thanks Ian, bit pricey but there's a reason I like them, shipping and a few extra ones might kill it - but I'll check further. Read on about threads - why I like the OEM/repop ones.

Dale, I've done the thread-all before. Problem is any little bit of play in the frame and the threads wear/oblong the mounts more than a solid bolt would (with threads only at the very end).

Steve, there's a fastenall in town I hit up last summer - they said nothing like I needed - but I just checked their web site and they have something close enough~!

Dale/Steve, one thing I might do is weld/fill the threaded portion where it would be in the mount holes - and then cut them smooth with a lathe. Problem is I don't have a lathe. Solution is I will buy a lathe

There should be a sleeve the right size. Just put in a center piece, and you are good to go.
