Has anyone done this for using the stock petcock? Ive been running for a few months on the prime position with success, but aside from the danger of leaving it on accidentally, it would be really nice to have a reserve again. It appears that the only place to put one would be on the intake "bell" which would give it an angle. Has anyone else done this?

There is a divot right behind where the carb slips in the manifold for drilling a vacuum tap.

Is there an adapter/coupling nut that will allow the use of an S series petcock? That would be a simple and affordable alternative to a Pingle (or using "prime") for many who have carbs without a vacuum port and don't want to lose reserve.

Where do I find a thread in nipple for 3/16 fuel line? The nipple store? No really, I cant seem to find a part that I can use, cut off, modify, etc.. to work. Any ideas?

Oh and thanks Moo - it was right under my nose the whole time. It even has a bulls eye for the drill bit

motion pro makes a 5mm or 6mm vacuum adapter (nipple) that would thread in. Do a search for them...about $5-10 on Ebay.
