I have a '74 H1-E. On one of the cylinders, the very bottom of the sleeve on one side broke off. Is that repairable? Can that piece be welded back on? I'm asking because the entire set (way back in the day) was ported and polished...so trying to match a "new" cylinder would be extremely difficult. And trying to purchase a replacement set of stock cylinders has already proven a tough task! If the piece would be welded back on, then we're (hopefully) "only" talking reboring and a new set of pistons/rings... What do you think? Doable? Thanks !!

I don't think it can safely be repaired, but there are guys who can take another one you supply and make it match the others without terrible difficulty.

Stock cylinder are usually all over the place on E bay..... I don't think the cylinder sleeve can be repaired.
