 Post subject: EX Caliper Bleeding

Rotortech posted an image that shows why some folks have problems bleeding EX calipers.
Note the position of the bleeder in relationship to the pistons.
The bleeder must be positioned higher than the pistons to bleed the air out.
One solution is to remove the lower caliper bolt and swing the bleeder upward... just make sure there is a material between the pads as thick as the rotor to save grief when lowering it back in position.

Yeah, I could see that coming as a problem. There is no convenient alternative to the mounting position on the S3. However, the adaptation is very simple so I remain happy until I have to bleed it. :lol:
