Are the Glenns/Maintenance Manual figures still correct with modern fuels?
In particular the KH500 figures using a dial gauge. All stock pipes etc.
Any ideas on a better figure?
Just helping a local setup a KH500, dont want to steer him wrong.

In general, stick with published specs (exc H1B).
All 500's need 23-25BTDC.

For the later H1's and KH500A8's/, I set those at 3.25mm BTDC. Others differ. I have used 2.94, but don't like it as well as the 3.25 setting.

Thanks all. It was already spot on to Glenns spec.
