Can anybody tell me the tread size for the brake light pressure switch on a late H1?
I'm gonna plug this hole when modifying my front brakes and I would like to buy the plug before removing the switch.

That's my recollection too, Scott, but I don't have one that's off to actually measure. I'd bet on 1/8 NPT.

H2/H1D is a strange metric fine if I remember correctly.

OK: I just removed the switch from my S3, and screwed it into a known 1/8" NPT female fitting which it fit properly, so it's 1/8 NPT. Then I checked the H2 and S3 parts manuals, and both bikes use switch part number 43065-001. So an H2 front brake switch is definitely threaded 1/8" NPT.

Great, I appreciate the effort.
The H1 also use 43065-001.

Great, so what size bolt would be suitable to blank it off ? 1/8th ntp X ?
I'm running a MC with a micro switch and would like to get the pressure switch out of the system.
Obviously I was mislead when I tried to do this years ago.

You need a plug.
Here are some links from down under:

http://www.speedflow.com.au/adapters.html (Almost at the bottom of the page)

I bought a stainless steel plug from this listing:
