It's the burble, not winding out correctly, cleanly. I'll post compression later today and throw a freshy set of plugs in it. This thing will run like it's supposed to. I don't mind spending the money and time.

For sure if not jetted correctly a triple can be a real dog...
Not sure what you have done with jetting but what I would do is list what you are using for pipes and carbs, maybe someone with the same setup can get you in the ball park for jetting.

OH NOOO! I'm not THAT guy? Lol! Maybe I am a little bit  I won't complain if I have to rebuild it, I knew that much coming in at least.

Rebuilds are not as bad as you might think. I've done my H2 a few times over the years and even though building one from parts or a good base would be pretty easy - yours is all there to start with - just need some upgrades/corrections & fixes.

I'm not saying you need to rebuild the motor. But you need to determine the condition of what you have.
At the very least, you need to do a leak down (crankseal) test to determine if crank seals are good.
Second, a compression test to determine if you have a worn bore or rings not seating.
Third, a thorough teardown & clean of carbs noting what size jets/components are installed.

That will give you a baseline to start from. Otherwise, you are shooting in the dark and you won't know enough to carry on an intelligent conversation about any performance problem you may have.

Education is the best tool you can have to ride a Triple on a daily basis.

Have seen some old triples that were a bit worn out, leaky, etc. that were fast do to proper jetting and set up.
Have seen some triples with new motors that were so poorly jetted that they were pigs.
Not a surpise for most engines although 2-strokes can often times be less forgiving IMO.

those are weird looking carbs????
When you pull them off, measure the I.D. of the bore that slips in the rubber manifold and post the jets that are in there.

all of the things mentioned (compression, timing, jetting, etc), but also being your pipes appear to be Wirges, the inner baffle plates might be completely carboned up.....which is no bueno.
