Edit: I didn't see that there was a page 2 of the thread when I posted, so I missed mraxl's post. I forgot the numbers were on that diagram too. The manual does have it, as well as other measurements you can make on parts of the system. It's on page 120 of the H shop manual. Low speed coil: 5 ohm between blue and green High speed coil: 200 ohms between green and white You won't get exactly these readings, but if you're in the ballpark you're OK. For the low speed coil, subtract the resistance of your meter leads (touch them together and read that first) from your reading so they don't add to it. |

well I cursed my self checking spare altinator , the one on my bike failed yesterday , can any one supply a low speed coil for a H2 750 72 model |

Rex's Speed Shop used to sell them. You might check with them and see if they can help. I believe Rick's Motorcycle Electrics in New Hampshire will rebuild the whole stator. |
